Today is my birthday...Its been 31 years already... How fast the time flies..since I was kid...birthday doesn't have any significant to our life..It just a normal day nothing special with it. Being born in an underprivileged family, we don't even bother to celebrate it..There were more important things to life than celebrating, the one day...such as putting rice on the table..we never be taught to celebrate it let along remembering it..hahahahah. Even though it sounds like we're lacking of intimacy alertness..our life are full of excitements and love...We bonded and love each other as much as others..It just not our tradition. As we grow up , we tried to copy others by showing each other that we do remember each siblings special day and we celebrate it with what we can...Having kids however, makes me a different person, I try my best to celebrate my kids birthday to show how special they are...The celebration doesn't have to be lavished...it just enough for the 4 of us with a cake. Today is not all a happy ending day for me..After spending the day with family, there's a grieving news that my best friend's father has passed away...without any sign of him going to leave us...but that's what Allah's promise..life and death of a person is depends on His will. We can't do anything.. How I shared her sorrow to loose a beloved one..and it's my sorrow as well since he was like my own father..Al-fatihah for arwah Abah..
So ...there's nothing special to the day of birth ...it's just another regular day reminding you of how near death is...and how fragile life are..
